Only a few artists have reached the acclaim and popularity that is experienced by Pink. Her name is already considered as a household name and is one of those few artists whom people know by single name basis. She is one of the most influential singer-songwriters of her time and has had worldwide success with many of her singles, albums, and even film appearances.

Pink first started her career back in 1995 in the American R&B girl group, Choice. However, the group faced little success and later disbanded in 1998. Afterwards, she started work on her solo debut album, Can’t Take Me Home and was released two years later on April 4, 2000. It was a major hit with double platinum sales in the U.S. with two top ten singles, “There You Go” and “Most Girls.” With her steady rise in popularity, she was chosen to be the opening act for ‘N Sync’s the American tour in the summer of 2000.
