Disney has given children of all generations a great ever since it started. In the 1920s, Walt Disney pioneered and created his own animated and cartoon studio together with his brother Roy Disney. As early as his teenage years, he already has a knack for drawing and being a cartoonist. Later on, he decided to continue his venture in animating by putting up his own studio. During that time, cartoons and animation was not yet a big thing in terms of entertainment. He even failed his first attempt in putting up a studio and was bankrupt. But this did not stop him from pursuing his dreams. He again started another company in Hollywood where he finally found success. His first animations include Alice Comedies, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Silly Symphonies and his most successful cartoon, Mickey Mouse. By 1932, he has received his first Academy Award for creating Mickey Mouse. By 1934, Disney started making full feature length movies starting with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. His animated movie became a success and the studio continued making more movies such as Fantasia, Bambi, Peter Pan, Alice and Wonderland and a lot more. He was able to create movies that are interesting for all people who were once a child.

The success of Disney can also be seen not only in movies but in other forms of media one of which is the Live Performance of Disney characters through ice skating. In 1981, Feld Entertainment produced the first ever Walt Disney’s World on Ice which was eventually known as Disney on Ice. It reinvents all the cartoon characters we love in a new perspective as you see them sing and dance in various performances on the ice. The newest show is Disney on Ice: Dare to Dream. It features the modern characters such as Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled. It covers their story as they go into an adventure. Princess Tiana together with Prince Naveen of the Princess and the Frog takes the audience to a musical journey. Other favorite Disney characters such as Cinderella can also be seen on Dare to Dream.
