The city of Charleston in South Carolina was first established in 1670 and was initially named after King Charles II and is considered as the oldest city within the south eastern area of the United States of America. This famous music venue was first established by Kevin Wadley, a member of a band who desired to create a venue place which gave emphasis on music and not simply turn into a regular nightclub. Along with his partner, he was able to create a great music place to listen to good music. In 1998, the Music Farm changed owners and was sold again in 2007 to Marshall Lowe and John Ellison. During the most recent purchase, Music Farm was given an overhaul and was renovated which include a new lighting and sound system as well as new bathrooms and an extension of the balcony.
