The Black Keys Tickets
The Black Keys, formed in 2001, is an American rock group which initially consisted of two members namely Dan Auerbach on vocals and guitar and Patrick Carney on drums. Auerbach and Carney had been friends since their high school years and briefly attended the University of Akron. After the two members had dropped out of college, they decided to form their duo and had gone on to become one of the more popular rock groups during the re-appearance of the garage rock revival of the 2000s. As of October 2011, The Black Keys have sold more than 2 Million albums in the United States alone.
The Black Keys had signed with Alive, an independent recording label and soon after released their first album entitles The Big Come Up in 2002. The group’s debut album incidentally was recorded in the basement of the home owned by Carney. Due to the success of this album, they landed a new recording deal with Fat Possum Records. During the succeeding years, The Black Keys has created a constant increase of their fan base while touring and performing in various small clubs, music festivals as well as utilizing music album releases.
The Black Keys’ third album entitled Rubber Factory and released in 2004 had been crucial in making the group achieve great popularity and critical acclaim which further landed them with another recording deal with Nonesuch records by 2006.
In 2008, The Black Keys created and completed an album entitled Attack and Release in a professional studio, after years of creating music in makeshift studios. The group also hired the help of producer Danger Mouse with whom they have been frequently collaborating with.
2010 was important for The Black Keys. It was during this year wherein they finally gained commercial recognition with their sixth album entitled Brothers. It was with this album wherein they won three Grammy Awards. In 2011, they released their next album which was titled El Camino and was greatly received as well.
