There are valid reasons why reality TV competitions are complete crowd-drawers. It’s because a lot of people are interested to know who among of the hopefuls are really good at what they do and many participants turn out to be rightful stars in their own right. One perfect example is Miranda Lambert. She is a product of the reality TV program Nashville Star where she bagged the third place in 2003. What was intended as a great opportunity to open doors to her career proved to be true as it ignited the start of her road to stardom.

Lambert released her first album entitled Kerosene which spawned hit singles “Me and Charlie Talking”, “Kerosene”, “Bring Me Down”, and “New Strings”. Her debut album was a huge success as it hit the Platinum mark and four of her aforementioned singles made it to the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Not long after that, people started taking note of her up until she was recognized in two of the most prestigious country music award giving bodies – Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) and Country Music Association Awards (CMA).

After that, there was no stopping Miranda Lambert. She released her second album called Crazy Ex-Girlfriend which received very good reviews from different publications and groups. She took home her first of many awards from CMA and was nominated for Best Female Country Vocal Performance at the Grammy Awards. Her third album, Revolution, was released a couple of years after and the outpouring of chart-topping singles continued. Two of her songs, “The House that Built Me” and “Heart Like Mine” landed at the top of the charts. Lambert got her very first Grammy for the song “The House that Built Me."

It cannot be denied that Miranda Lambert has rose to international acclaim through the years all the while proving to the world that she deserves to be called country music’s leading female vocalist. It is true that everybody can expect many great things from Lambert in the coming years. Watch out for her upcoming projects and you will be in for a ride.
