Soundgarden

Soundgarden, an American rock band, will be performing live again on stage in various places around the country and in Canada. The band was formed way back in 1894 in Seattle, Washington. The members are Chris Cornell (as the singer and in the rhythm guitar), Kim Thayil (in the lead guitar), Ben Shepherd (in the bass, since 1990) and Matt Cameron (in the drums since 1986). This band, Soundgarden, is considered to be one of the influential bands in creating grunge. This is a style in the alternative rock genre that was created and started in Seattle.

Soundgarden rose to stardom thanks to its 1994 album entitled “Superunknown”. This album debuted at the number one spot on the Billboard music charts in the United States and they were awarded with a Grammy Award thanks to their "Black Hole Sun" single as well as the "Spoonman" single. The band temporarily broken up in 1997 due to internal reasons; however, the band members reunited in the year 2010 and then, as a result, their sixth studio album entitled ‘King Animal’ was released recently.
