Are you a fan of Latin Music and musicians? If yes, then you surely know who Juanes is and you're familiar with his musical works. This musician started out as a member of the ‘Ekhymosis’, which is a heavy metal band. In 2000, Juanes released his debut solo album with the title ‘Fijate Bien’. This album has won three Latin Grammy Awards. Overall, Juanes has sold more than 15 million copies of his entire albums all over the world. His next albums were also achieved success especially in the Latin American countries. His latest album, entitled Juanes MTV Unplugged was released in May 2012. This album was more of a “live album” instead of the normal studio albums in which he recorded all the songs in a music studio. This album was built for success. It was (acting) produced by a legendary maestro named Juan Luis Guerra. It also features other Latin singers such as Paula Fernándes and Joaquín Sabina. The “Juanes MTV Unplugged” is basically finding the inspiration of Juanes as he goes back to where he started and his roots. This is the first live cd/dvd by Juanes. Overall, Juanes has won 19 Latin Grammy Awards and a single Grammy Award. He was also the recipient of the BMI President’s Award in the 2010 edition of the BMI Latin Awards.
